I found this extremely interesting, since people always say, “It’s all in your head.” Society tends to think that these Mental Health DX’s are not real, and the person can start and stop behaviors when they choose too. It is simply not true. This is evidence that there is something physically wrong with these clients. I could go on and on about this, but I sincerely believe that we need to be doing more research on these DX’s. We need to have more avenues to help these clients. TX clinics continue to be few and far between and state mental health funding continues to get cut, which leaves these clients with no where to turn for help.
