LEARN HEART SOUNDS IN 20 MINUTES!!!

Hey ya’ll. I have found some great resources for learning heart sounds. I am so excited that I found these. Click HERE to go to another website to listen to a WIDE variety of different heart sounds and get some other great information about heart and lung sounds. I wish I had known about this site a long time ago.

This Emergency Medicine Resident does an awsome job explaining the heart sounds in an easy to understand manner. I was so impressed with his entire demeanor. It is well worth spending 20 minutes to watch the video. It will help tremendously once you start your clinical rotations.

Physical Health Assessment: Rescheduled

OK. So, last week, our checkoff day for the physical assessment had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather. In a way, I guess that was good for some in the class. It gave the class extra time to study for everything. However, it also gave us extra time to worry and be anxious about it. In addition to this, we had to go ahead and continue on with the next module. This can sometimes be a bad thing, as it can be confusing. Nonetheless, we are scheduled to do our checkoffs this Thursday instead. Guess what? There is yet another winter weather warning out for guess when. You got it. . .Wednesday afternoon and night. If this happens, the school will be closed again on Thursday. I don’t know about everyone else, but I am ready to just get it done and move on to the next phase.
